The Yoga Stand instruction encourages hands on assisting to help students with alignment and experience the poses to the fullest potential. If you are not comfortable with hands on assisting please bring this to your instructor’s attention. If you have an injury please bring this to the instructor’s attention.

If students are disruptive or disrespectful in any way the instructor has the right to protect the highest interest in the class and of each student.

Instructors will not force any student into a situation or pose that makes them uncomfortable.

It is very common to experience emotional release in the practice of yoga. You are encouraged to feel what you need to feel. Please feel free to contact the studio owner with issues that need to be kept confidential.

At this time, our studio does not offer children’s yoga. Thanks for understanding.

Power Vinyasa Yoga is practiced in a room with the temperature at 85 – 90 degrees and humidity around 60%.

Our room is heated in the majority of our classes anywhere from 80-90 degrees.  More details regarding temperature can be found on the class description page.

The front door to the studio locks on time. This is to ensure each student’s safety, limit disruptions, as well as providing a serene, meditative environment.

The level of instruction at our studio is very important for the success of our community. We are committed to bringing quality instruction to your yoga practice.

Instructors are required to obtain a 200-hour RYT yoga certification or be in the process of earning their certification.

Instructors are required to hold their own liability insurance.



If you reserve your class online your reserved spot will be held up to 5 minutes before class time begins. It is very helpful if you early cancel your reservation online before class, but if you cannot complete the early cancellation there is no need to contact the studio. Your account will be credited as if you were not an attendee in class so you can use that class credit at a later date. (Expirations apply)


The system reserves classes out 30 days from your draft date. If you are having issues with reserving classes check your draft date. For example, your 30 day period expires on the 20th of the month and the system is asking you to pay for class reservation on the 23rd of the month; it is simply because the system has not registered your next payment for the next 30 day cycle. 

Drop-In Class – All sales final. No refunds. If you do not attend the class you will be dropped from the class roster and the drop in will be credited to your account so you can use it at a later date. The Drop-In Class will be held as an account credit for 30 days then it will expire. (You can early cancel yourself which is highly appreciated or you will be dropped by the instructor 5 minutes before class begins)


All private lessons must be canceled in a 24 hour period or you will be charged 50% of the cost of your private lesson.

A valid credit card should be on file at the time of scheduling a private lesson.

Contact the studio for pricing as some instructors teach lessons at different rates.

We are committed to having the least amount of cancellations as possible. Please check the schedule regularly, especially during the holiday season, as some cancellations will occur.

If we are to experience extreme weather conditions the schedule will be immediately updated to show the cancellation. We will do our best to notify you through Facebook, emails, & online scheduler.



Payment is rendered at the time of service. We cannot accept post-dated checks.

If you would like to receive email receipts and updates please make sure a valid email address is on file. You can update your profile online to change payment or email information. If an email address is changed we want to know so we can keep you informed. In addition to updating the online system, please email info@theyogastand.com or verbally communicate a change of email address to the studio owner to ensure our system holds the correct contact information for you.


All class offerings are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and can not be rolled over from one month to the next month. We do not refund for partially attended classes.


Automatic renewal each month unless a 30-day written notice before renewal period date for discontinuation is emailed to info@theyogastand.com. There will be a $20 late fee charged if your credit card declines unless an alternate form of payment is provided within 5 days of the original notice of declination/rejection of payment.


Month-to-month membership will auto-renew each month. Month-to-month membership requires a 30-day written notice before renewal period date for discontinuation emailed to info@theyogastand.com. There will be a $20 late fee charged if your credit card declines unless an alternate form of payment is provided within 5 days of the original notice of declination/rejection of payment. The one guest pass per quarter is for a guest that has never attended a Yoga Stand class. 15% off retail coupon is for 15% off one item per quarter.


If your draft date is July 20th and you send an email dated on July 19th then your last draft will go through on July 20th and you will have 30 days to use the membership after July 20th when your plan will expire and discontinue. If you send an email after July 20th, such as 21st, 22nd, 23rd, etc. then you will have one final payment on August 20th and the draft will discontinue. 


Drop-In Classes/Additional Classes purchased online have a 30-day expiration.


We do not freeze, hold, rollover, or transfer memberships. Please keep this in mind as you decide what options works best for you.


Workshops are nonrefundable. The only exception is a 48 hour written notice so that we may fill the spot because mat spaces are limited and available by reservation only. Thanks for understanding.


All gift cards are final sale. No refunds or transfers to other students are available for this option. We do NOT have plastic gift cards in the studio as we like to be as environmentally friendly as possible.  Please go through our Mindbody Online Scheduler to create an account for yourself. After you have created an account there is an option to purchase a gift certificate via virtual gift card.
