So many of us hear in our yoga class, lift your chest, open your heart, spread your collar bones and breath deep into your lungs.  We even drill down and focus on the shoulder blades and exactly where we want the placement of the shoulder blades to be in your asana.  All of this stuff is absolutely wonderful; however, be careful for the mask we put on oh so easy.  Are your truly being vulnerable? Are you allowing yourself to feel?  How is your connection landing in others?  Are you practicing inquiry and investigation of your emotional blocks?  I think it is so important to keep our emotional body in check as we experience the physical aspects of opening our heart.

We say at the end of class, Namaste, which means the divine in me, meets, greets, the divine in each of you.  Are you really connected?
