At the end of 2017 I moved to this friendly town by the way of San Antonio. I moved here with my husband and our 2 adorable kids that happen to have 4 legs and lots of fur (doggies, LOL).

Yoga came into my life about 12 years ago. I instantly became addicted to hot vinyasa! I enjoy all types of yoga but it’s thru heated yoga with some sort of power flow that I began to take notice of the significant changes in my own physique, plus mental and body awareness, and detoxification of my mind and soul. Yoga has helped me gain strength through some pretty bumpy roads in my life. One of those bumps was in 2015 when I tore my ACL and it required surgery. Through yoga my knee healed quickly, better and even stronger. For many years I was tossing the idea around in my mind about getting my certification to teach. Because of the easy healing process with my knee and how great everything turned out, that solidified my decision.

I really wanted to share with others just how amazing and beneficial yoga practice within their own life could be plus strengthen their heart, mind, body and soul. I went full steam ahead and got my 200 HR RYT in San Antonio. In late 2016, I went to a workshop in Houston through Baptiste for Advanced Art of Assisting. I also got my PiYo certification in 2017 since I love the combo of Yoga and Pilates together. Recently just completed a course for “Yoga Shred.” I really enjoy continuing my education within yoga and following my passion of helping others. It’s a true honor to be able to help guide others in their practice and watch them grow not just in strength and balance but in confidence as well.

I hope to bring to TYS members a creative strong flow but also fun class where each person can just let go of everything in their own world and focus on themselves for that hour…. Be present and aware. We all need moments for ourselves so that we can be better individuals for our loved ones. I like to remind everyone that yoga is not just a movement on a mat it is also a frame of mind.
